New Homes/New Lives!
This post has taken me a while to get up. All the pictures of pups and their new owners, were either on my camera, or in different files on the computer, and I guess I was just to lazy to hunt them down. After the Christmas Holiday, I finally sat down and searched for them.
8 puppies are in their new forever homes, with Taylor, staying here at Summit Dalmatians with Dru and me. 7 out of 9 puppies are in show homes, with 3 of them being co-owned by me.
Below are pictures of all of them, and their new owners. All of their names have changed, except for Redford's and Taylor's. I'll give some info, on each picture below.
Puppies are now just over 4 1/2 months old, and most have gone or are going to, puppy kindergarten class. Everyone of them is fitting well into their new homes, and I do keep in contact with all of them and enjoy receiving new pictures and updates on them.
Each show puppy, also has a page on my website, at www.summitdalmatians.com in the "New Stars" link.

8 WEEKS, ALREADY!
WOW! Time has flown. Not sure that I'm ready to say goodbye, to this beautiful litter. What fun they have been. There's never a dull moment!
Hearing test went very well, and I'm very pleased. We have 7 bi-lateral pups, and 2 uni-lateral puppies. NO deaf puppies in the litter. Every puppy was micro-chipped, and the results will be sent into the Orthopedic Foundation for Animals, (OFA). The vet and her technicians, had lot's of fun playing with them.
Last weekend, Lori Finalyson- (Bond's owner, Dalmino Dalmatians) my co-breeder Deby Harber- (Polaris Dalmatians) Rebecca Shallanberger- (Trailspotter Dalmatians), and Wendy Carver-Harbert, came down and helped with the difficult task of narrowing down the show puppies. We prevailed, and all four black/white girls, will hopefully go into their rightful show home, where I know each of them will be successful.
After much deliberation, I decided to keep Taylor. She's a little pistol, and I think will be fun to show. Look for her first show, this coming February, in Denver, CO.
8 week stacked photo's are in the link below. For some reason, the album mixed up some of the order I had them in, but they are all labeled.
Enjoy the beautiful view!

The Visitors!
| What could be cuter, than grand kids and puppies? |
Last weekend was a big one for the puppies. The weather was gorgeous here, and they spent a good part of each day outside. Friday thru Sunday, there was almost a constant flow of people and kids, stopping by to see and play with pups. By late afternoon on Friday, puppies were like little rag dolls, in the arms of kiddos. They were exhausted! When we brought them in, late afternoon, we didn't here one little "peep or wimper" out of them until the next morning.
I'm still having a hard time, deciding which puppy to keep. I like different qualities about several of them. Probably by this time next week, I hope my decision will be made.....I hope!

5 week stacked photo's
Today, the puppies had two sets of visitors. The first, was Rebecca Shallanberger, of Trailspotter Dalmatians. (Wilson's owner, from the Mazie x Ely litter) Becky was kind enough, to drive all the way down from the mountains, about 1 1/2 hours, and help me with photo's, and the first assessment of the puppies. She was amazed with this "once in a lifetime" litter, and I quoted her on that. All day, I kept hearing, "that is one heck of a nice litter! I can see why you're having a hard time deciding which one to keep!"
The second set was Dyann and Paul, from Denver, who are getting a pet puppy. To be determined whether it's a boy or girl, liver or black. I love "pet" puppy people like that, who can appreciate either sex or color and will be thrilled with either.
This morning, Becky and I took several stacked photo's of pups. Some were very cooperative, others....not so much....but they'll all learn how to "be a show dog" in the next couple of weeks!
I'm very happy with what we saw today, but still am no closer to making a decision on which puppy will be mine. What a problem to have!
Pups hearing test are scheduled for Monday, September 27, two hours north, in Ft. Collins, CO. Shortly after that, Becky, myself, and hopefully sire owner, Lori, and co-breeder, Deby, will be able to come and help us do the final assessment of pups We will also be checking movement, so the next couple of weeks, I've got to get them somewhat used to being on a leash. Wish me luck!
Enjoy the pics below, remember, they are still learning how to "stack" and keep all 4 feet where placed without moving! Forgive the messy faces, they loved the peanut butter!
