Mazie is now 6 weeks along. She's gained, so far, 5 1/2 inches in her waistline. Poor girl! I've upped her food rations, by about 1/2 cup a day, and she is also, getting one egg daily, for the extra protein and zinc that the puppies need for healthy development.
In another week, I might be able to start feeling the puppies moving around in her tummy. I'm looking forward to that. Summit Dalmatians

What a beautiful spotted lady. Tell Mazie I need a pretty little black and white girl :-)
ReplyDeleteThanks for the update!

P.S. Whatever happened to little Brutus?
Brutus had a faulty heart valve, which we didn't know about until he was 7 weeks old, plus he had water on the brain, which we knew from early on. We made the hard decision to let him go, after the defective valve discovery.
ReplyDeleteIt's still tuff on both of us to think about.
Are you seriously looking for a puppy?
Hi,
ReplyDeleteYes, I am seriously looking for a puppy. I am axiously waiting to see if Mazie has any black and white girls.
We have had 3 spotted girls in the past. Our last one Dolly passed away this past January and my heart is still broke. I miss her so much. She had the biggest smile. I hope the image will show when I post my comment. I still can't believe she held this smile while I took her picture.
Our oldest Dominoe was over 15 years old when we lost her. Our first, Porkchop was almost 15. Not sure how we came up with that name but the vet said they have a lot of pets with the same name but only one Porkchop. We want to name the next girl Princess.
I was going to get a puppy from Ravin Dalmatians last month but Mr. Jones ended up placing them in show homes. He was helping me find other breeders expecting litters and one of them he suggested to contact was Dalmino Dalmatians. Upon researching them, I came across your site and connected the dots (or should I say spots ha ha). It looks like their dog is the daddy. Correct?
My wish is for a pretty black and white girl with not a lot of spots on her face (like Mazie). Mazie looks like our Porkchop.
I really enjoyed watching the puppies on You Tube. The internet is wonderful.
Thanks for your time,
Beverly
Beverly, yes Lori's boy Bond, is the sire of this litter. I also know Patrick, and will see him next month in Greeley.
ReplyDeleteIf you are interested in a puppy, the best thing to do, is not sit back and wait, but to put a deposit down. If I don't have a blk/wht girl for you, it's refunded. My list is filling up quickly, so if you wait, you might get left out. This should be a very nice breeding, between the two. Hopefully, we have lot's of girls this time around!
Please feel free to call me if you like.
