We're having puppies!

  Due to unforeseen circumstances today, I canceled Mazie's vet appointment. I was going to have her palpated to confirm puppies, but her pregnancy has become rather obvious. So far, she's added 3 inches to her waistline, and it's only day 31 post breeding. I'm still mulling over the thought of taking her in late next week for an ultrasound, to kind of get an idea of how many spotted babies to expect.
  On her last litter, she wasn't nearly as big as she is with this one. Not sure what that means....possibly bigger puppies, or she could be having more than she had last time, which was eight, or...it could mean nothing at all.  I do hope the pups are a little bit bigger at birth, this time, so we're keeping our fingers crossed on that.

  As you can see from the pictures, she's got a definite pooch, and has lost her tuck-up. Looking down from the top, she's lost her waistline. From this point on, she'll start getting bigger, almost on a daily basis.
  Dru and I are getting excited, and I'm planning on taking at least one week off from work, when Mazie delivers puppies. They should be here in approximately one month. Wow....I better get busy!
