The acrobat!

Day 16-18, finds the puppies exploring their surroundings. All 9 puppies hear, but I won't know if any are uni's until later. When they're about 7 weeks old, they'll be getting their "official" Baer Hearing test, also at which time each one will be micro-chipped. All eyes are open, although what they see right now is blurry, but they can detect movement. I've not determined yet if any have blue eyes.
This morning, I put my finger in a couple of mouths, and we have teeth coming in (poor Mazie).

Next Monday, puppies will be starting on Gruel, or finely ground puppy food, with goats milk and water added. They usually take to this pretty enthusiastically. You can be sure that I'll get videos of them eating at some point.

Speaking of videos, I thought I'd share one that I took on Wednesday, (day 16) of all the pups nursing. Watch for the black/white boy, to attempt a cartwheel!
They're all pretty cute, and Dru and I spend lot's of time just sitting and watching their antics, which will get crazier by the day!
